    Course Description
    How much do we really know about crime? Are crime rates as dire as we think they are? Should we worry that we live in the "most dangerous" city in the country? This class will take a sociological approach to the causes, definitions, and classifications related to the study of criminal behavior, while drawing on the fields of criminal justice, law, psychology, and other social sciences.
